Nick Stupakis, Vice President: As a founding member and vice president, Nick plays an integral role in executing Helion’s strategy to transform quality, service, and value in the home and community care settings through an innovative payer-provider network management model. Nick has driven the value-based partnership structure for the post-acute network — shifting contracts from traditional fee-for-service to true value-based contracts. Nick and the team created an exclusive platform that establishes a connection between health care providers and payers. This platform promotes innovation by employing automated processes within utilization management workflows. It also facilitates integrating members with clinical interventions, ultimately leading to improved outcomes.
Nick previously served as director of post-acute care at Allegheny Health Network (AHN), where he supported strategic planning and development of AHN’s Healthcare@Home, a comprehensive post-acute care service line including Home Health, Hospice, Home Infusion, and Home Medical Equipment. He has held key roles on regional and national strategy teams for operations, growth, and innovation in the skilled nursing and home health industries. He has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Pittsburgh.
